“Air Gear” – OAD Announced

According to Weekly Shounen Magazine, an OAD of Oh! Great’s 「Air Gear」 series will be bundled with the limited edition 30th volume of the manga. It will cover the “Ikki vs. Ringo” face-off found in the 16th volume.

The 「Air Gear」 manga series first debuted in May 16th, 2003. It has released 28 volumes to-date. On top of its success, a TV anime adaptation was produced by Toei Animation in April 4th, 2006 — which included 26 episodes total.

Light Novel “Dragon Crisis!” – TV Anime Adaptation

According to Super Dash Bunko imprint, a TV anime adaptation of Kizaki Kaya’s (author) and Itsuki Akata’s (illustrator) light novel series 「Dragon Crisis!」 has been green-lit for production.

The novel first debuted in 2007 and has since enjoyed 11 volumes to-date. A drama CD was released under Frontier Works in March 25th, 2009.

*Synopsis:

Ryuuji was living peacefully as a normal high school student, until his older second cousin, Eriko, returned to Japan. Inside a box the two stole from “Dark Broker,” was a Dragon Girl, Rose! For some reason, this girl, Rose, was entranced with her rescuer, Ryuuji. And with that the Organization of Darkness known as “Fang” began moving, aiming at her. In order to protect her, Ryuuji would need to overcome his trauma and motivate himself to fight!
